Owner, Nurse Practitioner, and Certified Botox/Dermal Filler Injector

A Burleson local, Misty Stasney is the owner and resident Family Nurse Practitioner at JM Wellness & Aesthetics. With over 20 years in the medical field, she began as a phlebotomist and advanced through multiple nursing roles, CNA, LVN, ADN RN, BSN RN, MSN RN, and APRN FNP-C, with clinical experience spanning med-surg, cath lab, cardiac and neuro units, and the emergency department. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from TCU, graduating with honors in the top 10% of her class.

Collaborating Physician and Certified Botox/Dermal Filler Injector

Dr. Amanda Akin, D.O., is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician and certified Botox and dermal filler injector. She earned her biology degree from the University of North Texas, graduated from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed her internship in Virginia followed by her Emergency Medicine residency at JPS in Fort Worth.

Chief Nurse Practitioner and Certified Botox/Dermal Filler Master Injector

Jake Sanchez is the Chief Nurse Practitioner and a certified master injector. A graduate of TCU with postgraduate studies at Angelo State University, he specializes in anti-aging therapies including hormone replacement, peptide therapy, weight loss, and custom IV vitamin infusions. He is also a longtime clinical instructor for local colleges and universities. Outside the clinic, Jake enjoys time with his wife Erin, their daughter Sage, son Duke, and their three dogs.

Nurse Practitioner

Riley recently earned his Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington and graduated as a Nurse Practitioner in May 2026. He brings a passion for patient-centered care and is dedicated to helping patients achieve their health and wellness goals through education, evidence-based practice, and personalized treatment plans. A proud TCU graduate, Riley is excited to use his clinical experience and advanced training to make a positive impact on the lives of those he serves. When he’s not caring for patients, you can find him on the golf course, at sporting events, or spending time with his wife and their dog.

Joseph is a proud U.S. Navy veteran with more than 10 years of diverse healthcare experience. His background includes emergency medicine, ICU, urgent care, and vascular access, giving him a strong foundation in patient care across a variety of clinical settings. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University and his master’s degree from Texas Tech University. He also completed a postgraduate fellowship at the University of Missouri, further expanding his advanced clinical training and expertise. With his dedication to patient care, extensive clinical experience, and passion for helping others, Joseph is committed to creating thoughtful, individualized care plans for every patient.

LaTonya brings more than 17 years of healthcare experience, with a strong background in women’s health, OB/GYN, and family medicine. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Texas Tech University and completed her Family Nurse Practitioner training. Joining JM Wellness is a special full-circle moment because LaTonya previously completed her FNP clinical rotations with the team. She is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care and empowering patients through education and support. Outside the clinic, LaTonya enjoys sports, spending time with her family and two children, traveling, and participating in mission work.

Sarah Grace earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Christian University and is a certified Botox and dermal filler injector. Outside the clinic, she enjoys time with friends and family, trying new recipes, and exploring all that Fort Worth has to offer.

Certified Botox/Dermal Filler Injector, IV Therapy and Vitamin Nurse

Jenny brings years of clinical experience, earning her BSN, RN from the University of Missouri, and has served patients at Harris Methodist since 2013. She began her aesthetic injecting journey in 2023 after advanced training through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. Outside of work she’s a busy mom of two, happily married, and a fellow dachshund lover.

IV Therapy and Vitamin Nurse

Dakota is a skilled registered nurse focused on IV therapy and vitamin injections. She earned her BSN from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2017, with prior experience in pediatric nursing on the Critical Resource Team at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas and in pre-op and PACU at Cook Children’s Surgery Center in Hurst. She loves spending time with her family and making memories with her two children.

Registered Nurse

Originally from Kansas and a proud University of Kansas graduate, Sarah brings 13 years of oncology experience, including the past 11 years at Harris Downtown. Outside of work, Sarah is married to Josh, the head baseball coach at Boswell High School, and they have two children, Cannon, 7, and Ellie, 4. Their family can usually be found at the baseball field.

Assistant Office Manager / Esthetician & Phlebotomist

Jamie is our assistant office manager, esthetician, and phlebotomist. She received her esthetician license from Ogle in 2020, her phlebotomy certification from Lone Star Phlebotomy, and graduated from Tarleton State University with a BBA in Business Management in 2024. She spends her weekends with her husband Holden and their long-hair miniature dachshund, Tank.

A Burleson resident with four years in the medical field, Brooke graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a bachelor’s in public health and is studying toward medical school with the goal of becoming a surgeon. In her spare time she loves reading, concerts, and cheering on the Dallas Stars.

Grace is a medical assistant and phlebotomist currently studying biology with the goal of becoming a Physician Assistant. She enjoys spending time with her dogs Lucky and Jake, reading, and working out.

Alondra is a dedicated bilingual Certified Medical Assistant with over 10 years of experience providing compassionate, high-quality care, including volunteer service at Mission Arlington Clinic. A graduate of Concord College, she is preparing to enter an LVN program with plans to bridge into an RN program.

Office and Billing Manager

Delaina graduated from Fort Worth’s Remington College with a certification in Medical Billing and Coding. Having started as a receptionist, she has now spent nearly 20 years in the medical field, almost a decade of that as a health clinic billing manager.
